Untried Indies - Pahlish An Caisteal Ruadh

I totally got this idea from Moni's Manis, she has a series where she posts swatches of her untried polishes in between press samples and nail art. I've been trying to make a dent in my untrieds by wearing a new one everyday. So I thought I would start posting some of them since I have quite a few. I started with Pahlish An Caisteal Ruadh from last year' fall collection. I'm shamed to say it sat untried for about a year until I finally wore it a month ago. Hmmm, that's like a really long title isn't it? I admit that titles and coming up with names isn't my strong suit. Anyway, it's been quite here and I feel like giving you guys an explanation of why I've only been posting about twice a week. But since I know most of you are here primarily to look at pretty nails, I'll save it for the end. Today I have another one of those 31 Day Challenge manis that I didn't get to post. (See, I told you guys I had several just waiting to be posted...) The prompt for this one was red base. I chose It's all Over from Knockout Lacquer.

Hi guys! Today I have my 1st holiday mani of the season to share with you. I created a red French Tip with candy cane watermarble accent and candy cane stamped decal. More pictures plus all the products I used are after the break!

ORLY Sweet Tart Swatch

Today is Simple Swatch Saturday with a bit of a nail polish fail thrown in. This was supposed to be my 1st attempt at a pond mani...yeah...nope. Can you see the flowers I stamped in between the layers of the red? Not really. Sigh. Anyway, the color is gorgeous so it still works as a great swatch! This is ORLY Sweet Tart, a red jelly that's so squishy and shiny and candy-like.

Pahlish - La Dernière Reine

This week the Pahlish Lovers group on Facebook is hosting a Pahlish Week to show our support and love for maker Shannon cause she's been going through some stuff. We're going to be using the hashtag #teampahlish to show off our Pahlish manis. I'm wearing La Dernière Reine from the 2014 Royal Reverie fall collection with a stamped accent nail. 

HePicksMyPolish July Challenge - Dots

Hello readers! I'm doing much better, my shoulder is still sore but my back doesn't hurt as much and the burn is now a reddish, bumpy area on my neck. This week it's HePicksMyPolish week! It's a great challenge where you have a "he" in your life pick out some colors and you have to make a design with whatever they choose. This is my 1st time actively participating even though I attempted something last month. The colors my husband picked were so awful that I just kept getting frustrated and angry. The colors themselves were ok, but they all had such different formulas and I had very limited nail art supplies that all my ideas were massive fails. Alas, now I have more supplies and I told him to try to stick to one section of the stash (cause I have them sorted by brand) so it would be easier on me. Maybe when I'm better at nail art I'll let him pick from wherever.
