Pretty & Polished Valentines Day Duo

Pretty & Polished released an LE Valentine's Duo of thermal holo glitters. There are only 100 bottles of each color made and amazingly, as of the day I'm writing this, they are still in stock. I know the holiday has already passed but we're still in February so bear with me. They both are amazing polishes with wonderful formulas, check below for swatches and the review!

Untried Mainstream - Orly High on Hope

Today I have an oldie from my collection. I've owned this one for a while. High on Hope was part of Orly's Spring 2013 collection, I found it on TJ Maxx a year later. And then it sat untried until January 2016 when I originally swatches this. So sad. Review and macro below/after the break.

Rainbow Holo Gradient Nail Art

I created this for a collaboration on Instagram. The theme was unicorns. I was short on time so I just did rainbows and sparkly stuff. I used Orly Mirrorball as the base, and created a gradient with the colors in the OPI Color Paints mini set. I've got a couple of macros after the break/below.

M Polish Custom - Ocean Swells

Today I have swatches of an M Polish I had custom made for me. I've been searching for a dark teal that's not too green with flakies for a while. I've collected a few in my attempt to find the perfect one but they were either too blue or too green. So I asked Megan is she could make it for me. I wanted something that resembled the deep ocean during a storm and I'm very happy with what she created.

Untried Indies - Crowstoes Jotunheim Swatch and Review

I'm continuing the untried polish series I started last year with a simple swatch of Crowstoes Nail Color Jotunheim. I bought a new laptop last week (yay!) but I took out a large chunk of money out of our savings account and now I'm on a no buy until we can save it back in a few months. Basically, I sacrificed my polish budget (I don't really have a budget, rather, the maximum amount I don't feel guilty spending every month). So instead of buying polish, I'm putting it in savings. Honestly, I cringe when I think about all the money I'd have in savings if I stopped to buy nail polish for a year. And then I look at the pretties on my wall and forget about it. My point to all this is that you'll be seeing all of my untrieds from now until who knows when, unless I get press samples. But...new laptop means faster photo editing, easier video editing, more blog posts and tutorials! Anyway, check below or click "read more" for the review and macro.

TBT - Floral Stamping

Today I wanted to do something a little different. I wanted to do a little throw back Thursday post and recreate one of my old nail art. I decided to recreate the very 1st nail stamping I felt confident enough to post on the blog. Previous to this I had tried on paper and random nails but this was the 1st time I did a whole mani. Today I have some holographic chevron nail art, inspired by @muchomanimani as part of a mani swap on Instagram. Her original was blue and orange and I made mine blue and gold.
