Pretty & Polished - Sunburn City Swatch and Review

Hi guys, today's post is a simple and short one. I know I haven't been posting much lately and I don't really have a good excuse other than...mental health issues that are wearing me down and making it hard for me to find the motivation to do much. Anyway, today's swatches are of a fun little extra polish you get when you order the complete Bummer Summer collection from Pretty and Polished that I reviewed on my last post, you can check it out here. I didn't have this one when I originally swatched those but I got it last week so here it is.

Pretty and Polished - Bummer Summer - Swatches and Review

Today I have the Pretty and Polished Bummer Summer Collection to show you guys. It's 4 polishes themed for those of us who hate summer. Ok so I don't hate it but as an adult it's not my favorite season. I do like the long break from school but I wish it were in winter instead. As I grow older the things that I used to love about summer I know really dislike, lazy days by the pool now mean being on high alert making sure the kids follow rules and don't hurt themselves. Quick beach escapes now mean packing a car full of things, food, towels, clothes, toys, blankets, chairs, umbrellas, etc. Playing all day outside now means forcing the kids to drink water, tons of icky bug spray and having to hear them complain about how hot it is and how they'd rather be indoor watching tv. You can't win. And don't get me started on buying a swimsuit...give me a large shirt and shorts please.

Orly PCH - Swatches and Review

You guys...I've had these swatches for like a month now. Ugh. How can I have so much stuff going on when I really don't ave anything mayor going on at the same time? Just basic, boring, adulting and parenting taking up all my time. I enrolled my youngest in pre-school for fall today...I guess that's a milestone of sorts. I'm trying not to think about it. Anyway, nail polish and stuff. Orly has another neon collection for summer. Yeah I know, they do almost every year but still, they are pretty. BBP - Summer Playlist - Partial Collection Swatches and Review

Today I have swatches and a review for 6 of the 12 new colors that Bad Bitch Polish is releasing for summer. The collection is called Summer Playlist and it's inspired by classic summer songs. These colors are all super bright and with the exception of one (a teal which I don't have for you guys), they are not neons. Don't be disappointed, what this means is that they don't have that finicky matte neon formula, instead they are gorgeous cremes that dry to a super shiny and smooth finish on their own. Pretty and Polished Icons Part 1 - Swatch and Review

Sorry for the lack of posts this week. My son has had a cold all week long and I've only been able to work on this post and the accompanying video swatches for just a few minutes each day. This is going to be a very very heavy picture post and you'll see why it's taken me a while to get it up. Anyway, today I have for you the new collection from my favorite indie brand, Pretty and Polished. In the words of Chelsea herself, "Part I of the Icon Collection is based on current female music icons. I chose these women because they are iconic and have made big impacts not only in music but in my life and the lives of others". It consists of 8 polishes, 4 of which are thermals. Like I said above, lots of pictures ahead (about 50).
