Pink Butterfly Stamping

Hi guys! I've had this mani in my head for a few weeks, ever since I received Zoya Savita in a BHB nail thread swap from @southernandpolished. I stamped over it with M Polish Apple Blossom and used my new Dashica Infinity plate 106. My nails are quite nubby at the moment, too much stress has led to a few breaks and nibbles. It doesn't mean I can't rock some awesome nail art though! It's the best way of know of leaving my nails alone so they can grow again.

Pretty & Polished - Humble Beginnings Review (partial)

Hi guys! Did you miss me? I've been sick all week, along with everyone else in my household. Let me tell you, it's not easy fighting the flu when you also have to take care of two kids (one who is just a toddler) who also have the same flu. There was a lot of tv watching. I'm slowly starting to feel better so I figured it was time to get back to blogging.

I'm really excited for today's post actually, I really wanted to have this one up last week but it was just not possible between the coughing fits and the fevers. A couple of weeks ago, Chels, one half of the wife-husband team behind indie brand Pretty and Polished, asked the fan group for bloggers for the new collections. I jumped at the chance and will admit to letting out a squeal of excitement when she asked for my address. There was even more squealing when the package actually arrived. Nail Polish Indie Brand - Swatches and Review

Hello readers, today I have swatches and a review of 5 polishes from Nail Polish Indie Brand, which is run by Jodi. She let me pick out the colors I wanted to review so there's a mix of collections. Overall, I found the quality to be really good, the formula on all of them was nice and smooth and easy to use. All of the ones I picked where on a jelly base, some more sheer than others but most reached full opacity in 2-3 coats, except for one (Peachy Keen). They are also all 5 Free. Read on for more!

Hi guys! I'm very excited for today's post. I have my first ever press samples for you! It's the Moonlight Defenders Collection from Yume Lacquer. Amanda sent me 4 polishes from the collection to review. This collection is based on Sailor Moon. Now, don't hate me but I never saw Sailor Moon, ok maybe I saw a few episodes here and there but in general anime and manga aren't my "thing". I do have a few series that I loved as a teen thanks to my friends lending me DVDs since a lot of them are anime/manga fans so I'm not clueless to it. Anyway, I really like these polishes and I think Amanda has done a great job. I have a lot of pictures, about 6 per polish so let's get started.

Oh I should mention, I wore all of these for at least 12 hours, some more, not on purpose but because I had to keep stopping in the middle of swatching to deal with life (pick up Princess A from school, bedtime battles and middle of the night wakening while I was trying to swatch, stuff like that) so I got to test their durability during multiple hand washings, cleaning, diaper changes, etc. I'm happy to report that wear on all of them was really good, no chips during the time I had them on, just some minor tip wear on my right hand and nothing on my left.
