*this post contains items that where sent for review*
As most of you know (and if you don't then let me fill you in) Born Pretty Store offers a large variety of nail art items at great prices and worldwide shipping. I received 4 items to review for you guys, so be on the lookout for those in future posts soon.
The 1.5mm circular flatback rhinestones arrive in a small, clear, plastic cylinder with a twist off top. The rhinestones come in several different colors and can be used to create lots of different looks.
They are really easy to use as well. Once I was done with my stamping, I put a small drop of basecoat where I wanted the rhinestone to be and then used a dotting tool to pick them up and place on my nails. Afterwards, I sealed them in with topcoat.
Here's the finished look.
My base is China Glaze Strap On Your Moonboots from the Hologlam collection. It's a steely blue with a subtle linear holo flash. I have three polishes from this collection and I really like them. It's not an in your face, strong holo, but I think it's really pretty. I used M Polish Starflower to stamp an image from UberChic plate 1-03.
I wore the rhinestones for a full day and I was pleasantly surprised to see them firmly attached until I removed my polish. I also liked that they where still shiny even after applying topcoat to the manicure. I've seen complaints before about some rhinestones becoming dull after topcoating them.
If you'd like to order these or other items please use my code PZL91 for 10% off your order! (Code isn't valid on sale items.) I was sent this item for review, but you can get your own here. Retail is $3.30 but it's currently on sale for only $1.72.
M Polish Starflower was also sent for review, you can see the swatches and review here. I purchased China Glaze Strap On Your Moonboots, and the UberChic stamping plates myself.
