Pretty & Polished Fall Glitters - The Flakies

Hi guys! Today's post is part 2 of the Pretty & Polished Fall Glitters, the flakies; Don't Flake On Me and That's Crantastic. I have lots of pictures for these two, that's mainly why I have them in their own post.



Don't Flake On Me

Don't Flake on Me has  multichrome flakes and pinkish-mauve shimmer flakes in a clear base. It's a little hard to describe, it has lots of flakies of various sizes and even though it's clear, there's enough of them to build the polish to opacity in 3 thin coats. Swatches are 3 coats with topcoat. Application was smooth and easy, I didn't have any issues during clean-up with random flakies sticking everywhere either. It dried to the touch in about 5 minutes with topcoat.

When I was swatching I realized that it would pair perfectly with Saucey Marsala from the Dusty Cremes. So the swatches below are 1 coat over 2 coats of Saucey Marsala.

I love this combo, it's almost as if Chelsea designed them to go together. Pairing them this way really makes the flakies stand out more, in my opinion.

That's Crantastic

That's Crantastic is a thermal flaky creme. It changes from a nude beige color when warm to a bright pinkish cranberry when cold. Swatch is 2 coats with topcoat. Application was easy as well, the polish is a perfect creme consistency, doesn't run or flood cuticles, and spreads like butter. With topcoat, it dried to the touch in about 5 minutes. This was a fun one to swatch, it was pink in the bottle and started turning nude as I painted it on. Cute story, my daughter was looking at the bottles and said "I wish there was a sparkly polish that changed from pink to purple". I said "I don't have pink to purple but how about nude to pink with shimmery flakies?" She's still wearing it.

I have no issues to report with either of these polishes, they did not stain my skin or my nails. Removal was easy with acetone, like regular polish.
