Pretty & Polished Fall Glitters - The Crellies

Hi guys! I really excited for today's post. I have the entire upcoming collection from Pretty and Polished to show you! It's an 8 piece collection, I've spent about two weeks swatching and editing, and I ended up with 30 photos. Since that's way too many photos for one post, I'm breaking it up into 3 separate posts. The Fall Glitters consists of 8 polishes, 3 glitter crellies, 3 holo microglitters, 1 glitter flaky, and 1 thermal crelly with flakies. On today's post you'll see the crellies.

Rustic Charm

Rustic Charm is a pale pink nude crelly with small pink, brown, gold hex glitter, and extra small copper hex glitters. Swatch is 3 thin coats with 1 coat of topcoat. The polish dries to a shiny yet slightly textured finish due to the glitters. If you want a smooth finish, use a thick topcoat like Gelous or two coats of topcoat. The formula is smooth and easy to control, with a good amount of glitters but not so much as to make the polish thick and unmanageable. With a quick dry topcoat, the polish was dry in about 10 minutes.

Hayrides For Days

Hayrides For Days is a nude crelly with small blue and purple hexes, and extra small yellow and purple hex glitters. Swatches are 3 thin coats with topcoat. Formula and application are exactly like Rustic Charm. The polish dries slightly textured without topcoat, add a coat of Gelous or two coats of topcoat to smooth it. It dries in about 10 minutes with a quick dry topcoat like Pretty & Polished Swift Sparkle. I wish I had gotten more purple glitters in my swatches, there's plenty of them in the bottle but they were a little hard for me to actually get. I don't know why, but that's really my only issue with this polish.

Autumn Love Story

Autumn Love Story is a sorta mauve...pinkish...purple crelly base with medium sized orange hexes, small gold and purple hex glitters, and fine copper shimmer. Swatch is 3 thin coats with 1 coat of topcoat. This polish also has the same formula and application of the previous crellies. The larger orange hexes tend to sink towards the bottom, so I did have to leave the bottle upside down for about 30 minutes prior to swatching. Since I wasn't satisfied with the amount of orange glitters in my first two coats, for the 3rd coat I did go fishing for a few and placed them where I pleased. I find this to be typical of glitter crellies so I wouldn't really consider it a negative. Personally, I love the combination of glitters and shimmers in this one.

Removal for all of these glitters was really easy using a peel off base. For regular, non swatching wear, the one I tested removed easily using the foil method, aka acetone soaked cotton balls on your nails, wrapped with foil, for about 30 seconds for each nail. There was no staining of skin or nails and glitters that stuck to my skin where easily removed during clean up with a brush and acetone.
