Hi guys! If you've been following me on Instagram then you know my nails have been really nubby these past few weeks, which is one of the reasons I've been posting pics from my archives. This week they where finally at a length where I felt comfortable swatching. So, for today's post I bring you swatches and a review of Shinespark Polish Outrageous Orange, plus some citrus themed stamping courtesy of M Polish Sweetclover and MoYou London Tropical 07.
Outrageous Orange is part of the 80's Neon collection, a set of 7 bright neon cremes. I have 2 more colors from this collection to show you guys later on. All swatches in this post are 3 coats without topcoat. You can also do 2 coats with a white undie to make the color pop even more. I feel the most color accurate shot I got was the first picture posted above, in the afternoon shade. I'm using an Ottlite I borrowed from my mom for these swatches and the polish is slightly brighter and more neon than it looks.
Just like I experienced with Shinespark Polish's 90's Kids collection neon jellies, the formula for Outrageous Orange is really easy to control, it feels buttery and smooth. This polish dried to the touch in about 10-15 minutes to a slightly shiny/satiny finish. I barely had any clean-up because the polish stayed where I placed it and didn't flood my cuticles. I wore this manicure for 2 days with minimal tip wear and only 1 small chip on my left thumb.
I wanted to add something extra to my swatch so I stamped over Outrageous Orange with M Polish Sweetclover, using some citrus images from MoYou London's Tropical 07 plate.
I purchased Outrageous Orange with a blogger discount for the purpose of reviewing, M Polish Sweetclover is a previous press sample, and I bought the MoYou stamping plate myself. Outrageous Orange is currently available at www.shinesparkpolish.com, $3.75 for a 5mL mini or $8 for the 15mL full size.
