Pretty and Polished Fall 2016 Swatches and Review

Long time no see! Today I have the Pretty and Polished Fall 2016 collection. This has a little something for almost everyone, glitters, crellies, flakies, holo sparkles, and thermals! It's no secret this is my favorite indie brand but I still must admit this is simply another awesome collection. There's 10 polishes and a few pics for each so this will be a bit picture heavy. Check out my swatches and thoughts below!
Riverside Drive

Riverside Drive is described as a dark midnight blue creme with blue, silver, and dark gray flakes. I would call this more of a very dark teal. Swatch is 3 thin coats with top coat. No issues to report, the usual super smooth P&P formula. I did not have any staining on my skin or nails with this one. I mention it since some teals/blues can stain, this did not.

I Done Plum Had It! 

I Done Plum Had It! is described as a plum creme packed with copper orange flakes. Swatch is 2 coats with top coat. No issues to report. Wonderful smooth formula.

Fuzzy Sweater

Fuzzy Sweater is a mustard yellow creme filled with UCC color shifting flakes. Swatch is coats with top coat. If you love yellows and flakies, then you need this! Perfect, smooth formula.

Patch

Patch is a pumpkin orange dusty creme. Swatch is 2 coats with top coat. No issues to report. Perfect fall color!

Creme De La Creme

Creme De La Creme is a creamy sandy dusty creme. Swatch is 3 thin coats with top coat. I love this one so much! I love nude/beige/sandy polishes, sometimes I just feel the need for a simple clean mani. I'm a big fan of the "mannequin hands" look and this polish is just prefect for it. I did need 3 coats to completely cover my visible nail lines, but they are so smooth and easy to apply that it doesn't feel like it.

Lavendarling

Lavendarling is a holo thermal creme with pink and blue flakes. It is a soft lavender in it's warm stage and changes to a darker blurple shade in cold temperatures. At room temp it is set in the lavender shade. The holo is a very soft shimmer, but I forgot to take pics of this with my LED light to show it off. No formula issues.

Fall In Love A Latte

Fall In Love A Latte is a light brown to off white thermal full of varying fall colored glitters like dusty pinks, blue, oranges, and purples. Swatch is 2 coats with top coat. I had absolutely no issues with this either. I did dab on the 2nd coat to ensure good, even glitter coverage. It self levels to a nice smooth finish and I added top coat for shine. It is light brown in cold temps and room temp, it reacts in warm temps and changes to an off white/pale gray.

Taupe Me Off and Leaf!

Taupe Me Off and Leave is a taupe creme polish full off browns, golds, coppers, and orange glitters. Swatch is 2 coats with top coat. This one does have a slightly thicker formula. I didn't add thinner or anything like that, it was still workable, it just has a ton of glitters in it! I recommend dabbing this one on with your brush and spreading the glitters around where you want. This one reminds me of Hayrides for Days from last year's fall collection, the glitter colors are a little different though.

Heavy Metal 

Heavy Metal is a silver based polish with metallic glitters in silver, gold, and copper. There's also a few color shifting flakies thrown in, but those might be hard to find unless you're looking for them. Swatch is 2 coats with top coat. I dabbed this one as well, it's also really full of glitters. This is probably the most unique and interesting polish I own!

Dark Magic

Dark Magic is described as a dark gray creme holo with metallic purple hex and holo glitters. There seems to be some gold or copper microglitters in it as well. Swatch is 2 coats with 2 coats of top coat. Yup, you read that right. This one dries very textured, it's crazy full of glitters so in order to get that super shiny swatch pic, I used 2 coats of top coat. In real life you can just use 1 coat, unless you really hate the textured polish feel. I almost got away with 1 coat of polish though. The base color is super opaque and there's so much glitters that I feel that one could do 1 thick coat of polish as well. I dabbed on a 2nd coat in some areas I felt needed more coverage. This one reminds me a lot of Belles of the Balls from the Connie and Carla collection (check out my review of those here), but with a different colored base and glitter combo. But they are both holo glitters polishes.
